Background

Prior to Sovereign PLLC, Matt lived in Washington D.C. and worked at the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission where he focused on regulatory matters related to consumer goods, specifically IoT products. He also spent time in San Diego externing for the Honorable William Q. Hayes in the United States District Court for the Southern District of California, gaining valuable insight into the federal judicial process.
Matt earned his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from Syracuse University College of Law, where he met managing attorney Rod Dorilas. The two became fast friends, and they now collaborate to provide a frictionless systematic approach for their clients. A member of the California State Bar, Matt enjoys playing tennis in his free time.
